Diana Toshiko is cast in “Fabric” by Award winning playwright Henry Ong which will be present by Company of Angels in July -August.

Film and television credits: Recently wrapped “Make a Movie Like Spike” with Jamil Walker Smith of “SGU Stargate Universe”, series regular on season one of the webisode series “Hell Froze Over” which won the Outside the Box Award at The New York Television Festival!, “Betty” in the Emmy Nominated “Day of Independence” winner of over two dozen international awards directed by Oscar winner Chris Tashima, a series regular on “Asia Street Comedy” a sketch comedy show like Saturday Night Live for the AZN Channel, “L88t Haxxors” ep3 and ep4 that aired on VH1’s “Acceptable TV”, a lead in the pilot “Loungitude” for Corday Productions NBC, the Sci Fi Film Battle Planet which aired on the Sci-Fi Channel, “Systolic” which made the festival rounds.

West coast theater credits: Grace in “The Betrayed” by Award-winning Nisei playwright, poet and author Hiroshi Kashiwagi in the West Coast premiere.“A Chorus Line” as Connie Wong for (McCoy Rigby Entertainment, and American Musical Theatre of San Jose) dir. Kay Cole winner of the Bay Area Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, “The King & I” (AMTSJ and Musical Theatre West), “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” and “Manzanar” (East West Players) dir. Tim Dang, “Comedy of Errors” as one of the Dromio’s at Knightsbridge Theatre, OPM: Me Laugh You Long Time (Best of the San Francisco Fringe Festival), “Two Gentlemen of Verona” as Speed for (Company of Angels), and East L.A. Classic Theatre’s “Mariachi Much Ado About Nothing” as Margaret dir. Tony Plana. For Will & Company, Diana appeared in 9 touring shows and was in the one woman show for the national tour of “Faces of America” playing 10 different people from diverse backgrounds. For the mainstage: “The Merchant of Venice” and “A Winter’s Tale” at the Palmdale Playhouse, and Benvolio in “Romeo and Juliet” at the Ricardo Montalban Theater in Hollywood.

Comedy credits: The world famous Laugh Factory and The Improv as Lil Kim Chee of the notorious Hung Yang Clan, the LAMEC comedy improv festival at the Ivar, as well as winning awards at comedy festivals in L.A., San Francisco, and Canada. Diana performed with Emmy Award Winning 18 Mighty Mountain Warriors in “Bow Down to Your Asian Masters” and has written/performed/choreographed for OPM Comedy.
